The Danby Silhouette Reserve Wine Cellar is designed to truly preserve your best wines in two distinctly separate chambers that protect them from heat, light, and vibration, while keeping a range of varietals at optimum temperatures.

A wealth of features all created to optimize storage, convenient operation, and preservation make this built-in, dual zone wine cellar a premier addition to any wine collector’s home. In addition, you can select a left swing or right swing door to make placing and installation easier.

Invisi-Touch Display

A simple tap on the glass door activates the touch interface which allows you to set and adjust temperature, lighting, and operating mode without opening the cellar door. The panel features a list of wine varietals and dual temperature rings for the upper and lower zones that illuminate and change with corresponding varietals, white or red.

The temperature can be adjusted in increments of one degree and displayed in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. Two menus provide easy control of mode and lighting as well as temperature.

Superior Storage

The Reserve Wine Cellar’s shelves are designed to create maximum storage in an elegant and functional manner that operates with minimal vibration. The full-extension glide-out shelves combine organic maple dowels with the Silhouette NEK cradle system, providing room for 37 bottles in a 24-inch wide under counter space.

Instead of having to adjust or remove a shelf to accommodate Burgundy or Riesling bottles, the NEK cradle system props the front row of bottles at the perfect pitch allowing the back row to nestle seamlessly regardless of the shape or size of the bottle.

Diffused Interior Lighting

The beautiful, bold parametric lighting in the Reserve is diffused through the chambers so all of the bottles are illuminated. Select from three levels of lighting plus a Sabbath mode.

• Bank Lighting: This is the brightest lighting and will remain at this level for 3 hours after selecting it.
• Theatre Lighting: This will dim the lights by 35% and remain in effect for 3 minutes. After that period of time without interaction, the lights will turn off.
• Energy Saving: This sets the lights to off, however when the door is opened the lights will return to the bright setting for 2 minutes.
• Sabbath Mode: This setting can be activated from the secondary menu and will remain in effect until turned off.

Additional Features

• Dual Zones: The upper zone is fitted with two shelves and the lower zone with three, however both zones can be set from 41° to 64° Fahrenheit providing more versatility.
• Self-closing Door: The door of the Reserve has a flush fit with an articulating hinged door for a seamless fit with cabinets. The self-closing hinge has a back-up door ajar alarm just in case it does not seal properly.
• Right Swing or Left Swing: To enable a wider range of installation options, the Reserve is available with either left or right swing door.
• Quiet Operation: At only 44 decibels, it’s one of the quietest operating wine cellars.
• Audio Setting: Maintain or silence audible prompts.
• Two Leveling Legs: This helps ensure a perfectly level cellar for best storage and operation.
• Anti-Tip Bracket: While the Reserve is designed for convenient built-in installation, it can be used free-standing as well. This bracket attaches to the wall, fitting snugly down on top of the cellar to prevent tipping.
